Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is looking for a dynamic Senior Software Test Engineer in Columbia, MD to advance the Minotaur Mission Processor, a cutting‑edge system that ingests data from sensors on both manned and unmanned aircraft. You will lead testing efforts and mentor junior engineers across multiple technical domains.

You’ll collaborate with a seasoned team to solve complex military challenges, focusing on aircraft data exploitation, object tracking, and mission-ready displays

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• 2 - 4 years experience software testing/development in a Linux command line environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a close team environment

Responsibilities

• Devise and apply testing procedures for both HII’s Minotaur product and from outside vendors.
• Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
