Job summary

Geneoscopy in the United States is seeking a Software Test Engineer III to design and implement automated and manual verification tests for our laboratory workflow software. You will build test data pipelines, maintain AWS infrastructure, and contribute to full-stack test coverage.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience in software testing, hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, PyTest, TestNG, and TestCafe, and strong communication to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience developing software tools to aid testing.
• Experience designing automated testing frameworks and reusable test structures.
• Strong understanding of page object models, full-stack web apps, and microservices.
• Proficiency with AWS, RESTful APIs, Selenium WebDriver, PyTest, TestNG, and TestCafe.
• Hands-on experience in virtualization for test automation (Postman, MockServer, Mockito).
• Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to learn and collaborate in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, document, and execute formal automated and manual tests.
• Interpret, document, and report testing results to maintain compliance with FDA, CAP/CLIA, and data privacy regulations.
• Review software requirements to develop an automated testing strategy.
• Code reusable test functions or components.
• Execute automated testing across multiple systems, platforms, and environments.
• Log and track defects, report issues, and verify fixes.
• Develop tools to assist with testing.
• Collaborate with the lab to reproduce and identify issues.
• Promote and support CI/CD pipelines; mentor others; work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision and navigate complex problems.
