Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Software Engineer in Test for its Fidelity TalentSource team in Westlake, TX. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated tests in an Agile environment, ensuring quality from sprint planning through sign-off.

You will work with engineers, PMs and business partners to address defects, optimize test coverage and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of test automation experience, strong Java/J2EE and JavaScript

Qualifications

• 7+ years of test automation experience in an Agile environment.
• Hands-on in building automation frameworks with Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Ready API and Rest Assured.
• Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, Spring, and SQL.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Excellent collaboration, communication and root-cause analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain fully automated tests within each sprint.
• Collaborate with PMs, analysts, developers, vendors and business partners to ensure quality.
• Drive quality engineering and participate in defect analysis and test signoff.
• Champion automation and continuous improvement across the team.
