Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to deliver high-quality software applications using Java and Python with a focus on test automation and CI/CD pipelines. Position Description: Delivers high quality software applications using Java and Python. Works with both functional and regression testing including test automation following Agile methodologies (Kanban). Builds automation pipelines using Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud technologies, DevOps, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools -- Git and Jenkins. Conducts Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) and data migration testing, using SQL. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) testing the automation of online transaction processing applications, using Java, TestNg, Rest-Assured, and Maven.
Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) testing the automation of online transaction processing applications, using Java, TestNg, Rest-Assured, and Maven.
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
