Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to join the Stock Plan Admin QE team within Stock Plan Services Technology. You will lead quality engineering efforts for the equity compensation platform, delivering test plans, automation, and CI/CD collaboration across multiple stacks.

The role requires deep QA expertise, strong collaboration with business and IT peers, and a passion for modern test and automation driven software development practices.

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant technical experience with test planning, execution and automation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field is required.
• Experience with QE best practices and test suite management tools like Jira-Xray, HP ALM.
• Expertise in functional, UX, regression and non-functional testing across multiple stacks.
• Strong in Java, TypeScript/JavaScript and automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Karate, Rest Assured.
• Proficient with test automation frameworks for UI, API, database, and mainframe.
• Experience with UI and microservices architectures, SOAP/REST APIs, messaging (ActiveMQ, Kafka).
• CI/CD and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Copilot) to support quality practices.
• Experience in stock plan services and mainframe is a plus.
