Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Software Testing Principal (Edifecs) for a 100% remote U.S. role.

You will lead complex testing efforts across EDIFECS transactions, including X12/EDI workflows, claim and eligibility exchanges, and quality-driven delivery. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of experience in software testing, strong manual and automated testing skills, and familiarity with CI/CD tools, JIRA, and security testing practices.

Qualifications

• Proven track record on complex software projects delivering high-quality results.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing across SDLC.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and test management tools.
• Familiarity with security testing practices and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and procedures to ensure products meet standards and end-user requirements.
• Develop test schedules and approaches; write and review test cases and scripts.
• Conduct reviews of test cases/scripts with Test Managers, Leads, and Developers.
• Perform and lead tests of software/IT systems to ensure proper operation and defect-free releases.
• Document and communicate test results; support analysis and resolution of issues.
