Job summary
Citigroup Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Software Test Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team in Tampa.
You will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure software quality, performance, and security. You will perform manual and automated testing across Web, Mobile, and Desktop platforms, validate RESTful APIs, and verify data with SQL queries while engaging in Agile/Scrum
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as Software Test Analyst or QA Engineer.
- Experience with STLC/SDLC and QA methodologies.
- REST API testing with Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger.
- Ability to write SQL queries to verify backend data.
- Experience with cross-browser and mobile testing.
- Familiarity with Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or HP ALM.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design detailed test cases and data.
- Execute manual and automated tests across Web, Mobile, Desktop.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear repro steps.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and QA planning.
- Perform backend testing with API validation and SQL verification.
