Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Software Strategic Sourcing Manager to oversee end-to-end strategic sourcing and contract lifecycle for enterprise software. They will lead complex software negotiations, drive licensing optimization and manage key supplier relationships to maximize value and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of experience in procurement strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• Direct experience negotiating software and SaaS agreements.
• Deep knowledge of software licensing models (subscription, perpetual, named user, concurrent, consumption-based).
• Strong analytical capabilities with spend data and TCO modeling.
• Experience with enterprise software suppliers (Microsoft, Salesforce, Smartsheets, Adobe, etc).
• Familiarity with SaaS management platforms (Zylo, Productiv, Flexera, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for new software purchases, RFx processes and negotiating enterprise agreements.
• Own renewal management for existing software contracts, initiating reviews 90+ days before expiration.
• Analyze utilization with IT and Innovation to identify cost savings through license optimization, consolidation and elimination of redundant applications.
• Partner with IT, Security, Legal and business stakeholders to evaluate suppliers against technical, security, and commercial requirements.
• Negotiate complex SaaS and perpetual license agreements, including pricing models, SLAs, data security provisions and exit terms.
• Maintain supplier relationships through structured business reviews, performance tracking and issue resolution.
• Feed market intelligence and sourcing insights back to the IT Category Manager to inform broader category strategy.
• Engage and participate in special projects or complete other duties as assigned.
