Job summary

Apptronik is seeking a safety-focused engineer to own the safety assurance of software and AI for their humanoid robots. You will lead architecture analyses, safety analyses, and evidence evaluation across IEC 61508-3 and ISO/IEC TS 22440 standards, ensuring robust safety claims for Apollo’s software stack.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing and assuring safety-critical software architectures.
• Deep experience with safety analyses (FMEA, FTA) and safety cases.
• Experience with IEC 61508-3 or ISO 26262-6 lifecycle; familiarity with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead software safety analyses, including FMEA/FTA and safety case development.
• Define software safety architecture, monitoring, diagnostics, and safe-state logic.
• Assess verification evidence and ensure traceability against safety claims.
