Job summary

Apptronik is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop Apollo humanoid robots across the full product lifecycle—from concept through production and sustaining.

You will apply strong engineering fundamentals to solve well-defined, moderately ambiguous problems and collaborate with electrical, software, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to meet performance, reliability, cost, safety, and manufacturability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role
• Experience delivering mechanical subsystems end-to-end

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, subsystems, and assemblies
• Own designs from concept development through production release and sustaining
• Perform design trade studies and support technical risk reduction
• Apply DFMA principles and support manufacturing readiness and production ramp
• Plan and execute verification and validation testing for designs
• Perform mechanical analysis (static, thermal, and fatigue)
• Investigate test, manufacturing, and field issues; support root-cause analysis
• Create design documentation, drawings, and specifications
• Participate in technical design reviews and cross-functional discussions
• Collaborate with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal teams
• Support engineering change management (ECO/ECN) and design traceability
• Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior engineers
