Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, application support, or production support in a SaaS environment.
• Hands-on debugging across application code, databases, and infrastructure.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, SQL/PostgreSQL, and AngularJS.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, logging, monitoring, and RCA.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own Tier 3 production support, investigating and resolving escalated issues.
• Troubleshoot code in Rails, React/TypeScript, SQL/PostgreSQL, applying fixes.
• Perform root-cause analysis across apps, databases, integrations, and infra.
• Collaborate with Software Eng, QA, DevOps, Product, Support to improve stability.
• Develop scripts and AI-assisted tools to streamline troubleshooting.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives, migrate legacy tech to modern frameworks.
• Become a technical expert for SaaS apps and mentor junior engineers.
• Improve technical documentation and best practices.
