Job summary

Lab37 Robotics is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to own test strategy, release validation, automation, and early triage across complex software and operational workflows.

You will work across frontend applications, backend services, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and robot-adjacent interfaces, partnering with product, culinary, operations, robotics, firmware, and mechanical teams to ensure reliability and maintainability through disciplined testing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software quality or test engineering with ownership of test strategies.
• Experience creating and executing test plans for production software.
• Strong test automation and API/web/app testing experience.
• Experience coordinating release validation and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test strategies for complex product capabilities across interfaces and systems.
• Develop detailed test plans from requirements, designs, and workflows.
• Own release checkout, define readiness criteria, document results, and support go/no-go decisions.
• Build and maintain automated tests for APIs, backend services, web apps, and integrations.
• Collaborate with product, culinary, and operations to validate real-world workflows.
• Test software for configuring and monitoring kitchen operations and robot-adjacent interfaces.
• Validate integrations with delivery and commerce platforms and handle partial failures.
• Work with firmware and robotics engineers to ensure systemic cohesion across software and hardware.
