Job summary

Lab37 Robotics is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to own test strategy, release validation, automation, and early triage across complex software and operational workflows. You will work across frontend apps, backend services, cloud infra, integrations, and robot-adjacent interfaces, partnering with product, culinary, operations, robotics, firmware, and mechanical teams.

You will be deeply hands-on, tackle complex problems, and drive quality from planning through production support,

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years in software quality or test engineering with ownership of complex test initiatives.
• Experience creating and executing production-quality test plans.
• Strong experience with test automation across APIs, backend services, and web apps.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test strategies for complex product capabilities across UI, backend, cloud, and robot-adjacent systems.
• Develop detailed test plans based on requirements, designs, workflows, and failure modes.
• Own release checkout and readiness criteria, document results, and support go/no-go decisions.
• Build and maintain automated tests for APIs, services, web apps, and end-to-end workflows.
• Collaborate with product, culinary, and operations teams to understand real-world workflows and identify risks.
• Improve logs, metrics, alerts, and dashboards to validate and troubleshoot critical workflows.
• Participate in design, release, and incident reviews to identify quality risks.
