Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to lead testing across Java/SQL/JSON applications. You will design and execute automated and manual tests, mentor a team of quality engineers, and champion standardized metrics in an Agile Scrum environment.

The role requires 5 years in software quality, 3 years in test automation, and experience with automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, and Selenium. Remote travel up to 20% is possible.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience creating software quality and/or data processing tests.
• Experience testing applications implemented using Java, SQL, and JSON technologies.
• Three years of experience in test automation.
• Mentor team of Quality Engineers in day-to-day work.
• Drive innovative testing solutions and thought leadership on standardizing metrics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets (e.g., healthcare claims).
• Develop and execute test cases, manual and automated.
• Automate test creation and result analysis; document strategy and implementation.
• Mentor quality engineers in daily activities; support Scrum planning.
• Participate in Scrum planning and provide estimates and test approaches.
