Job summary

NCR Voyix in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Software Quality Engineer III to join the SEAT team. You will investigate escalated defects across on-premises and hosted Retail solutions, using AI-assisted methods to improve speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities include maintaining lab environments and Jira triage, collaborating with development teams, and providing clear artifacts for handoff. This role emphasizes customer outcomes and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality, software support, or related technical investigation roles.
• 2+ years of experience in a quality engineering function.
• Broad technical exposure across software systems, environments, and troubleshooting tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lab environments, VMs, and branch-aligned multi-repository workspaces for defect reproduction and troubleshooting.
• Organize and analyze Jira escalations to determine root cause and evidence-based issue classification.
• Coordinate with development teams to hand off identified defects with complete technical artifacts and reproduction details.
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across Support, Development, PS, Sales Engineering, and customer teams.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt AI capabilities that improve investigation speed, consistency, and knowledge retention.
• Partner with Success 360 Advocate team members to align priorities and support escalation working sessions.
