ONTARIO SYSTEMS LLC dba FINVI is seeking a Senior Quality Control Analyst to enhance software quality through comprehensive testing, design of test plans, and automation. The role focuses on ensuring usability and reliability across products, collaborating with product and engineering teams to drive high-quality releases.

The Senior QA Analyst will develop and execute test plans, automate regression tests, and provide data-driven quality metrics to support release decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Manufacturing Processes, or Business from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification as a CSQA from the Quality Assurance Institute is preferred
• Minimum of 4-6 years work experience in software testing and business process analysis
• Familiarity with internal testing techniques and quality metrics
• Minimum guidance
• Milestone reviews, exception reporting, and management reporting
• Responsible for full-cycle control testing aspect on significant projects
• In depth knowledge of functional product areas
• Working knowledge of related technologies and project management tools and deliverables used in the Technology Division processes
• Proficiency in the use of desktop support tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio
• Working knowledge of scripting and test automation tools
• Ability to generate test metrics for project(s)
• Demonstrated mastery of testing process including test plan design and Ontario Systems' ODF
• Demonstrated capability in test plan implementations
• Advanced understanding of the processes used in Technology
• Advanced knowledge of finance and credit industry concepts
• An advanced understanding of one or more products and several product functions and the interdependencies between them

Responsibilities

• Create and execute software testing including end-to-end manual test scenarios
• Develop clear, complete, repeatable test plans and ensure traceability of requirements
• Automate routine regression testing and smoke tests for builds
• Provide design input to ensure testability
• Attend meetings and report defects with test estimates
• Track progress and provide resource estimates for projects
• Stay updated on market changes and expand QA knowledge through training
