Job summary

Nabsys is seeking a Senior Software QA/Test Engineer in Providence, RI to own end-to-end testing across multiple software components. You will develop tests, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and help ensure high-quality releases.

The role involves hands-on testing, automation tooling, and contributing to ISO 9001 compliance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in QA, strong scripting skills, and experience with Jira, Postman, Playwright, Cypress, and cloud-hosted software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software QA/testing experience in biotech or tech environments.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college.
• Experience with Jira and API testing tools (Postman, Playwright, Cypress).
• Experience testing on Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience testing cloud-hosted software.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, C#, Bash, or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases with end-to-end traceability.
• Contribute to documentation with each software release.
• Analyze testing results and present dashboard-based performance comparisons.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance through process documentation and quality records.
• Hands-on testing of features, including automation to improve coverage.
• Triages user issues and reviews bugs.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to generate test scenarios and support regression testing.
