Job summary

VIAVI Solutions in Indianapolis seeks a Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer to own the QA for the integration of multiple VIAVI enterprise products. You will design test plans, automate tests, and ensure robust validation across complex software systems.

Candidates bring at least 3 years in software testing, familiarity with test automation tools, SDLC knowledge, and strong communication to coordinate multi-team efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in software testing including test automation.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies.
• Experience with test automation tools such as JMeter, Selenium, Playwright, AI Agents.
• Experience with end-to-end testing with external interfaces.
• Experience with capacity and scalability testing.
• Familiarity with scripting languages for test automation design/development.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to create test plans for releases.
• Develop and organize test plans across multiple products.
• Create test procedures, coordinate execution, and report results.
• Design and develop test automation agents.
• Maintain and enhance lab equipment and network for validation.
