Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to define testable requirements and build automated tests across web, API, and data layers.

You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data teams to advance quality practices in AI-enabled applications and traditional software delivery. You will contribute to automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, validate data integrity, and ensure robust testing across UI, API, and database levels; strong problem solving and communication

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in automated testing for web apps.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Proficient in testing REST APIs and data validation using SQL.
• Experience in CI/CD and defect management.
• Knowledge of accessibility, security, and performance testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality strategies for applications, APIs, data flows, and UIs.
• Analyze requirements, stories, and designs to identify risks and testability.
• Create/maintain automated tests for web apps, APIs, and data validation.
• Develop functional, integration, regression, and performance tests.
• Automate web testing using Playwright or similar.
• Validate REST APIs, auth, workflows, data exchanges, and integrations.
• Verify data/results across UI, API, and DB.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD and support quality gates.
• Investigate failures and drive root-cause analysis with engineers.
• Test AI-enabled features for accuracy, safety, explainability.
