Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree with 24 CS credits and 2 years software experience, including 1 year in a project leadership role.
• A high school diploma or equivalent with six years software experience as described in (1).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex system, application, database design, development, and maintenance tasks for the large print mailing system.
• Monitor and execute scheduled jobs; collaborate with ITS Production Control and Computer Operations to resolve technical problems.
• Design, create, modify, and maintain form design and mapping.
• Analyze user functionality and participate in automation project design; conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Provide technical assistance to staff and mentor others to develop their skills in this environment.
• Create accurate, clear technical documentation and ensure turnover to Production in a timely fashion; maintain logs.
• Assist in planning and scheduling activities related to development, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems, applications, and databases.
• Communicate promptly about issues likely to jeopardize schedules, response time, data accuracy, or availability.

Education

Bachelor's degree with CS credits or related field
