Job summary

OASYS, INC., located in Huntsville, Alabama, seeks a Software Modeling and Simulation Engineer (Staff) to support a government customer. The role focuses on planning, designing, developing, testing, and debugging software using C/C++ in a security-cleared environment.

Requires US citizenship and Final Secret clearance prior to starting; travel up to 5% for planning activities. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams across the full software life cycle to deliver mission-critical software

Qualifications

• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++.
• Experienced in software modeling and simulation development.
• Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & test.
• Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams.
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development (desirable).
• Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities.
• Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software.
• Ensures software standards are met.
• Analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, and input data acquisition.
• Compiles documentation of program development and operating instructions.
