Job summary

OASYS, INC. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Software Engineer to support national security programs. The role requires C/C++ experience and the ability to work within a structured development lifecycle, including design, testing, and documentation.

The successful candidate must be a US citizen and capable of obtaining Final Secret clearance; there is a facility access requirement. Experience with RTOS, MBSE, and Agile practices is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++
• Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & test
• Strong teamwork and ability to work with multi-disciplined teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Real Time Operating System (RTOS) is a plus
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is beneficial
• Knowledge of Agile software development practices
• Willingness to obtain/maintain security clearance as required

Software Engineer

OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor, is seeking applicants for a Software Engineer to support our customer in Huntsville, AL.

Summary

The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of languages such as C or C++. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.
