Job summary

OASYS, INC. in Huntsville, Alabama seeks a Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer to support military medical software tools and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities include requirements development, management, data management, and lifecycle support with cross-disciplinary coordination. The candidate will translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements, develop verification strategies, author documentation, and interact with customers across all development stages.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management of system requirements from stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Develop and maintain requirements traceability across lifecycle and link user needs to system software requirements and verification activities.
• Support development of architectures, CONOPS, workflows, use cases, interfaces and technical roadmaps.
• Coordinate with software developers, government customers, and end users to ensure requirements are understood, implemented, tested, and validated.
• Develop verification and validation strategies and support test planning and test results documentation.
• Translate operational medical planning and military stakeholder needs into actionable technical requirements.
• Author technical documentation, requirements packages, and customer deliverables.
• Interface with customers throughout all phases of the development lifecycle and present findings to leadership.
