Job summary

The candidate should have 10+ years of experience in software development, strong Spring Java stack expertise, and experience delivering distributed systems using Kafka and MongoDB.

Qualifications

• Experience leading architecture reviews and governance.
• Strong hands-on Java development with Spring ecosystem.
• Experience designing and deploying microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with Kafka and messaging patterns.
• Familiarity with MongoDB and SQL databases.
• Ability to mentor developers and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture reviews and governance.
• Assess and mitigate technical risks.
• Provide POC leadership.
• Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices.
• Lead technical design discussions and solution architecture.
• Implement RESTful APIs adhering to enterprise standards.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for transactional and reporting use cases.
• Design MongoDB schemas, indexes, and queries.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of microservices.
• Apply logging, monitoring, and resiliency patterns.
• Build event-driven solutions using Kafka and messaging frameworks.
• Collaborate with BA, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and defect resolution.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production issues.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform RCA.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Follow secure coding and compliance standards.
