Job summary

REALIGN LLC seeks a Software Development Lead/Architect to provide technical leadership across Java-based microservices, RESTful APIs, and data layers. You will guide architecture, governance, and POC efforts while mentoring junior developers and driving Agile practices.

This role demands deep expertise in Java ecosystems, Kafka, MongoDB, and cloud deployments in OpenShift/AWS. Location: Tampa, FL area with requirements for multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Java (8/11/17) – strong hands on experience.
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data.
• Microservices architecture (service decomposition, API contracts).
• REST APIs, JSON, OpenAPI / Swagger.
• Kafka producer, consumer, partitioning.
• MongoDB
• Document modeling and indexing strategies.
• OpenShift / AWS deployment and ops.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture reviews and governance.
• Design, develop, and maintain Java based microservices.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of microservices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production issues.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform RCA.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Follow secure coding and compliance standards.
