Job summary

Exotec, a leader in warehouse automation, seeks an experienced Software Integration engineer to develop interfaces between Exotec products and client ecosystems. You will lead the North American Integration team, train colleagues, and drive continuous improvement. Travel up to 30% is expected.

You will analyze client needs, propose optimized technical solutions, and contribute to pre-sales for complex deployments, while shaping software testing and handover processes to operations teams.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of WMS/WCS/WES software and integration experience.
• 8+ years in a similar software engineering or software integration role, preferably in warehousing/logistics.
• Proficient in SQL, JavaScript, Node.js and web development.
• Familiar with Agile frameworks and practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience leading software integration projects from start to finish and understanding testing methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Develop software programs and interfaces between Exotec products and client systems, ensuring high-quality integration standards.
• Lead North American Software Integration team as subject matter expert and drive training and improvement initiatives.
• Analyze client needs and architecture; propose optimized technical solutions; participate in pre-sales for complex cases.
• Create software development specifications and functional analyses.
• Support developers and review code to ensure quality and align with integration methodology.
• Collaborate with hardware, system, and commissioning teams for seamless integration.
• Conduct functional analyses during project studies to ensure quality.
• Oversee handover of features to operations teams and support post-deployment.
