Lenovo is seeking a Software Experience Prototype professional to bring future product experiences to life by transforming design concepts into immersive, high-fidelity prototypes. This role bridges the gap between design and engineering, enabling teams to rapidly validate ideas and visualize the future of intelligent, connected products before production development begins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, HCI, CS, SWE, Design Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software prototyping, UX engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience developing high-fidelity interactive prototypes for consumer products, software, or connected ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and human-centered design methodologies.
• Proficiency in Unity, React, Framer, Swift, C++, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and research.
• Familiarity with AI tools and LLM-powered workflows for prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Translate concepts into high-fidelity interactive software prototypes.
• Design and prototype next-generation user experiences beyond screens, including ambient or spatial interfaces.
• Develop cross-device prototypes across hardware, software, sensors, and ecosystems.
• Rapidly build functional prototypes to communicate product vision and validate UX.
• Bridge design intent with technical feasibility through collaboration across teams.
• Leverage AI technologies to accelerate prototyping workflows and enable new interactions.
• Create reusable prototyping frameworks and tools for efficiency and scalability.
• Prototype interactions for products with and without displays, exploring contextual computing.
• Apply motion design and animation to create polished, intuitive experiences.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment using prototypes to gather feedback and reduce ambiguity.
• Stay current on emerging technologies to evolve the team’s prototyping capabilities.
