Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a Software Experience Prototype professional to turn design concepts into immersive prototypes that bridge design and engineering across devices, environments, and AI-powered ecosystems.

You will prototype interactions for ambient, spatial, and multimodal systems, collaborate with designers, researchers, and engineers, and accelerate decision-making through rapid, functional proofs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software prototyping or related experience.
• Experience developing high-fidelity prototypes for consumer software or devices.
• Proficiency with Unity, React, Framer, Swift, C++, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience collaborating with design, engineering, and research teams.
• Familiarity with AI tools and LLM-powered workflows.

Responsibilities

• Translate concepts into high-fidelity interactive prototypes across devices and environments.
• Design and prototype ambient, spatial, and AI-driven experiences.
• Develop cross-device prototypes demonstrating seamless interactions across hardware and software.
• Rapidly build functional prototypes to communicate product vision and validate user experiences.
• Bridge design intent with technical feasibility by evaluating implementation approaches.
• Leverage AI technologies to accelerate prototyping workflows and enable new interaction possibilities.
• Create reusable prototyping frameworks and workflows for efficiency.
• Prototype interactions for display and non-display products, exploring contextual computing.
• Apply motion design and animation to deliver polished experiences.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment using prototypes to gather feedback and reduce ambiguity.
• Stay current on emerging tech and interaction paradigms to evolve prototyping capabilities.
