Job summary

Citi’s Equity Research team in Getzville, NY is seeking a Senior Associate to support the lead analyst covering the Software sector. You will help deliver independent investment insights, shape research publications, financial models, and client engagements on a globally connected team.

You will contribute to AI-driven research methods, collaborate with colleagues across Citi’s global network, and mentor juniors as you advance in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in sell-side equity research or related function.
• Strong ability to build and maintain complex financial models.
• Experience preparing research materials and client-facing communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Licensing: SIE, Series 63, 86, 87 or eligible.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, economics, or related field.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and update detailed financial models for Software sector companies.
• Draft and co-author equity research publications for institutional clients.
• Respond to inquiries from clients with informed perspectives on Software sector developments.
• Coordinate investor events ensuring seamless execution and client experience.
• Apply AI tools to enhance research workflows and outputs.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
