Job summary

Citi’s Equity Research team is seeking a Senior Associate in the Technology & Communications sector, hybrid in New York. You will co-author institutional research, build sophisticated financial models, and publish notes for clients, shaping investment perspectives in a dynamic tech landscape.

The role requires 5–10 years of sell-side experience, strong modeling skills, and excellent communication, with licenses such as SIE/Series 63/86/87 being advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of sell-side equity research experience in Technology & Communications or a related area.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, economics, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to construct and maintain complex financial models with strong accounting knowledge.
• Experience preparing research materials and client-facing communications for senior analysts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex analysis into clear narratives.

Responsibilities

• Author and co-publish equity research across the Technology & Communications sector.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models covering valuation, earnings, and scenarios.
• Deliver timely insights to clients and internal teams on sector developments.
• Coordinate investor events including meetings, field trips, and calls; ensure high-quality client experience.
• Integrate AI tools to improve data analysis and publication cycles.
• Mentor junior researchers and uphold research integrity and regulatory standards.
