Verily Health is seeking a Software Development Manager to shape scope and direction of our technical initiatives. You will oversee development life cycles, ensure seamless execution, and drive collaboration across teams to secure vast biomedical data insights.

You will lead a team of engineers, drive strategic goals, and provide technical guidance to meet milestones in a fast-paced, innovative environment, with a focus on healthcare and data-driven research.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on technical leadership and/or people management of a team of at least 5 software engineers.
• Proven experience managing software engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
• Strong expertise in software development methodologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and expand a team of 8-10 software engineers.
• Drive project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define and execute on the team's strategic goals.
