Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in Java or Python.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to the team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities to execute software solutions, including design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Develops secure high-quality production code and sets guidance for team output and processes.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to drive designs and ensure integration with existing systems.
• Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in line with compliance, SLAs and business requirements.
• Creates a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect within the team.
