GEICO’s Site Reliability Engineering team is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to build and lead a new team of engineers passionate about developing engineering solutions—tools, frameworks, and automation in performance, efficiency, and reliability. This newly created organization aims to enable all application teams to deliver enterprise-wide products that are highly performant, efficient, and reliable. Our workloads span On-premises, Azure, and AWS, providing exciting opportunities to solve complex multi-cloud problems. You will have a significant impact on our customers’ experience and support GEICO’s technological transformation goals.
The Senior Manager will be an engineering leader responsible for guiding members of the engineering staff to deliver high-quality technology products and services in a hyper-growth environment. The ideal candidate will possess broad and deep technical knowledge to improve application performance, capacity benchmarking, availability, reliability, cloud architecture, and operational problem-solving.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Annual salary range: $120,000 - $261,500. Final offers depend on multiple factors including experience, education, location, and market conditions.
