Job summary
Hologic, Inc in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead a software team in day-to-day development, planning and tracking. You will oversee performance lifecycle, generate management reports, contribute to software strategy, and guide process improvements in planning, project management and product development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Experience in FDA-regulated environments following IEC 62304 and ISO 14971.
- Experience with embedded software using C/C++.
- Proficiency with Agile software development and test automation.
- Experience with version control tools and requirement management.
Responsibilities
- Lead a software development team and manage project planning, scheduling and tracking.
- Drive functional excellence in project execution and risk management across cross-functional teams.
- Oversee performance, reliability and scalability improvements of embedded systems.
