• 8+ years of industry experience
• At least 5 years of prior management experience
• System design expertise – low-latency, high-throughput, distributed systems
• Technical judgment – evaluate trade-offs, scalability, resilience
• Performance optimization – latency, locking, throughput
• Data platform understanding – streaming, event-driven flows, rule engines
• Bachelor's degree required; higher education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable
