Icon Health is seeking a senior software/data leader to guide a remote team of engineers building healthcare software on GCP. You will mentor engineers, set growth plans, and ensure HIPAA-compliant systems while delivering reliable cloud-based services.

You'll partner with clinicians, product managers and security teams to translate clinical needs into scalable tech, maintain code quality, and drive CI/CD practices across the stack, including Python, TypeScript and SQL.

Formación

• Experience leading software or data engineers in healthcare or regulated environments.
• Strong Python and SQL, plus JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (GCP).
• Experience with agile delivery, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data security.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, mentor, and hire engineers with clear growth plans.
• Ensure data handling and software comply with HIPAA.
• Collaborate with clinicians, product managers and security teams.
• Lead architectural decisions and cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee projects milestones and budgets.
• Write production code in Python, TypeScript and SQL.
• Review PRs and set the bar for code quality.
