Westinghouse Electric Company in Warrendale, PA is seeking a Supervisor, Software Engineering to lead 15–20 direct reports in software development for plant computer applications and annunciator systems. This hybrid role reports to the Sr.

Manager, Control & Information System Engineering. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering with 10+ years of experience, proven team leadership, and experience in I&C software development; nuclear industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Experience with leading a team of engineers.
• Experience with I&C software application development.
• Experience in the nuclear industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing the performance of direct reports.
• Hiring, training, and developing resources.
• Establishing a culture of safety and quality as the top priority.
• Evaluating resource demand from projects and developing hiring plans for long-term sustainability.
• Meeting labor rate goals for the team.
• Ensuring consistency in the software development process across the team.
• Leading product and process improvements and cost savings projects.
