Ladders, a leader in the media space, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Web Platform to shape the architecture, performance, and reliability of a high-traffic web platform serving a large digital audience.

You will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from design through delivery while partnering with product, design and engineering stakeholders, and mentor engineers to raise the team’s engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of web development experience with modern stacks (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js).
• Proven ability to optimize performance and reliability of web applications.
• Experience implementing AI workflows to enhance development processes.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Web Platform to join the team of a leader in the Media space.

This role will shape the architecture, performance, and reliability of a high-traffic web platform that supports a large digital audience. You will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from design through delivery while partnering closely with product, design, and engineering stakeholders. The position also calls for strong technical leadership through code quality, developer workflow improvements, and mentorship that elevates the team’s overall engineering standards.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $190,800 - $267,100 annually
