Location is remote for US-based candidates. Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $145,000 annually, with opportunities to mentor others and influence classroom outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent training.
• 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and modern engineering practices.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with React for frontend development.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js for backend development.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Genuine passion for education products and commitment to equitable tools for learners.

Responsibilities

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space.

This role will help build and improve software that supports meaningful outcomes for learners and educators in a mission-driven environment. You will work across the stack on modern web applications, partnering closely with product, design, and education stakeholders to deliver accessible, user-friendly experiences. The position also calls for strong ownership of production code, thoughtful engineering judgment, and a collaborative mindset in a fast-paced setting.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
