Job summary

You will translate customer requirements into designs, oversee code reviews and integration, and guide testing and adoption of new technologies while ensuring safety and regulatory standards. This 100% onsite role requires 9+ years in embedded software and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• 9+ years of experience with embedded systems and/or developing software (C, C++).
• 3+ years of experience with software utilized on air vehicle, avionics, weapons or mission systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, development, test, debugging and maintenance of software for embedded devices and systems.
• Leads review, analyses, and translation of customer requirements into software design.
• Reviews code for embedded systems software to run on specific hardware.
• Leads integration of embedded software with hardware components.
• Leads analyses, monitoring and improvement of efficiency and stability of embedded software.
• Leads testing and debugging of software for embedded devices and systems.
• Researches and leads implementation of current and emerging technologies and regulatory changes.
• Advises on software and hardware integration domains.
• Leads embedded software project management functions.
