Job summary

The Boeing Company in Hazelwood, MO is seeking a Senior Design and Analysis Engineer (Electrical Systems Design) to lead the development of complex electrical systems and ensure hardware/software interfaces meet stringent requirements.

You will coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, analyze requirements, document system architecture, lead testing/validation, and oversee supplier performance. This role requires eligibility for U.S. security clearance and is onsite first shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with focus in Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.
• Level 4 (Senior): 9+ years with a bachelor’s degree, 7+ years with a Master’s, or 4+ years with a PhD.
• Ability to travel up to 10 percent

Responsibilities

• Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements
• Leads and coordinates work to translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
• Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
• Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
• Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
• Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs
• Makes recommendations for technology investments
