Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer will serve as a Java/Spring server-side engineer, designing, coding, and maintaining web applications, APIs, and infrastructure components. The role requires teamwork and individual contribution with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly efficient, scalable software.
• Refactor and enhance codebase maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Address complex scalability, platform, and integration challenges.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficient in application development, support, and maintenance of production systems.
• 7-10+ years of experience in application design and development.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience with Web Services (REST and SOAP).
• Knowledge of Spring Boot microservices, Spring Cloud, API development, and security.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or Postgres.
• Familiarity with Web and Application Servers, preferably Tomcat.
• Experience with unit and integration testing (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
• Support and troubleshoot production systems.
• Preferred skills include Agile Scrum, TDD, Pair Programming, CI/CD tools, Git/Bitbucket, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and full-stack development with HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS.
