DeNOVO Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a program delivering modular mission software, data services, APIs, and edge-capable components. This role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph and will lead major technical workstreams while ensuring quality, schedule, and technical outcomes.

Responsibilities include designing modular services, APIs, and data layers, integrating intelligence data, and enabling cloud-to-edge deployments across security domains.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. You may substitute the BS Degree with 2 extra years of Software Engineering experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience; 5+ years on government programs or contracts.
• Experience with cloud-enabled, edge, and DDIL environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mission workflows and translate needs into software requirements, user stories, interfaces and acceptance criteria.
• Design and implement modular services, microservices, APIs, data access layers and user-facing features.
• Integrate structured and unstructured intelligence data and geospatial services.
• Develop software for enterprise cloud, on-premises, and tactical edge deployments.
• Create automated tests and address defects and technical debt.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and sprint planning; ensure release readiness.

DeNOVO Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer support a program that designs, develops, integrates, tests, and sustains modular mission software, data services, APIs, user-facing applications, and edge-capable components. This role applies cloud-native and open-architecture principles to enable rapid capability insertion, third-party integration, interoperability, and reliable operation across security domains and echelons. The Senior Software Engineer leads major technical workstreams, translates mission needs into executable plans, reviews the work of other team members, and owns quality, schedule, and technical outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze mission workflows and translate functional needs into software requirements, user stories, interfaces, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and implement modular services, microservices, APIs, data access layers, workflow components, and user-facing features.
• Integrate structured and unstructured intelligence data, external applications, common data layers, geospatial services, and mission systems.
• Develop resilient software patterns for enterprise cloud, on-premises, and DDIL tactical edge deployment.
• Create automated unit, integration, regression, performance, and security tests; remediate defects and technical debt.
• Implement observability, logging, alerting, exception handling, and graceful degradation.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, sprint planning, demonstrations, and release readiness assessments.
• Document software design, APIs, interfaces, build procedures, deployment dependencies, and sustainment considerations.

Required Tech Skills and Tools

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Army, DoD, Intelligence Community, or C5ISR programs; experience with classified environments, agile delivery, cloud-to-edge architectures, DDIL operations, and Government product demonstrations.

Desired Certifications

Security+; cloud developer or architect certification; Kubernetes or secure software development certification as applicable

Required Experience and Education

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting government programs, projects, or contracts
• BS Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. You may substitute the BS Degree requirement with 2 additional years of Software Engineering experience.

Salary Range

$140,000.00 to $175,000.00
Note: The above salary range is a guideline and represents a broad spectrum of potential compensation. We recognize that a candidate's unique experience and qualifications may justify compensation beyond this range. Therefore, we remain open to considering higher salary offers for exceptionally qualified candidates.
