Job summary

BCT LLC is seeking a Software Engineer (Level II) with TS/SCI w/POLY for roles based at Fort Meade, MD. The candidate will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, perform design and code reviews, and lead project teams when required.

Responsibilities include requirements analysis, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation across diverse systems. Telework may be approved case-by-case.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field and 8+ years of software development experience.
An additional 4 years of software development on similar projects may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Analyzes user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
Designs and codes new software or modifies existing software to add features.
Debugs existing software and fixes defects.
Integrates software into new or modified systems or environments.
Develops algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
Leads a software development team per project needs.
Writes or reviews software and system documentation.
