BCT LLC is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our team with telework 16 hours per week. The ideal candidate holds an active TS/SCI with POLY and has experience in policy or SIGINT domains.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining complex software systems across analytics, data processing, and real-time environments. The role requires strong knowledge of Unix, shell scripting, Java/J2EE, and container technologies, with experience in Git, Agile

Qualifications

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements.
• Utilize software development methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provide input to system design including trade-offs and OSS/GOTS decisions.
• Coordinate with system and hardware engineers to derive software requirements.
