Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer who develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems. You will review and test components, document results, and resolve software issues, applying appropriate design methodologies.

You may lead teams and contribute to system-level design decisions, including hardware/software trade-offs. Require 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, and active Top Secret/SCI clearance

Qualifications

• Fourteen years of software engineering experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience substituting 4 years for a degree is allowed in some cases.
• Proficient with Go, Python, Terraform and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance needs.
• Design, code, and modify software to add features or improve performance.
• Debug and fix defects in existing software.
• Integrate software into new or modified environments and systems.
• Develop data queries for databases and data repositories.
• Lead software development teams to ensure process adherence.
