Job summary

Amentum seeks an experienced senior developer to create custom analytics at scale, collaborating with data scientists and end users to build innovative analytic tools for enhanced discovery and tradecraft around critical global challenges.

The role delivers practical solutions focused on operationalizing data science within customer architectures, requiring strong end‑to‑end software engineering and data engineering capabilities. TS/SCI Poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years, or Associate’s with 10+ years, or HS diploma with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with data scientists and mission analysts to prototype and deploy analytics tools.
• Perform end-to-end software engineering to integrate tools into the customer architecture.
• Leverage big data and ML fundamentals to enable discovery and tradecraft.
