Job summary

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. is seeking a SoftwareDeveloper to design, develop, and maintain software tools supporting TSSC operations for a U.S. Intelligence Agency in Springfield, VA.

The role requires leadership experience, strong coding skills, and emphasis on security compliance. The position involves collaborating with data engineering, front-end and back-end teams, and adhering to DoD security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years in software development with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and development frameworks (Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency with Git and version control.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security.
• Experience in software development for technical security applications.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into functional software.
• Active TS with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software tools supporting TSSC operations and analysis.
• Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Design, develop, and integrate scalable software systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps.
