Job summary

NS2 Mission in Chantilly, VA is seeking an Expert Software Developer to join our team on prime Intelligence Community contracts, delivering mission-critical software for national security operations.

You’ll collaborate with architects and engineers to design, develop, and modernize enterprise applications, using Java, Python, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks in an Agile setting. TS/SCI with an FSP clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Java and/or Python and RESTful APIs.
• Full-stack or front-end development with modern UI frameworks.
• Experience in Agile environments and enterprise software design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications for mission-critical operations.
• Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and/or Python.
• Create responsive UI with JavaScript and Angular.
• Develop data processing using Apache Spark where applicable.
• Utilize Elasticsearch for search and analytics.
• Lead design discussions, perform code reviews, and influence architecture.
• Support CI/CD, testing, and DevSecOps throughout the lifecycle.
