Coinbase is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Simple Trade Experience team within the Consumer & Business group. You will own scalable backend and frontend services that power buy, sell, and convert journeys for millions of users worldwide.

You will design robust systems, partner with product/design to deliver a best-in-class trading experience across web and mobile, and drive production service evolution as traffic expands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building scalable production services.
• Experience with high-availability distributed systems in trading/financial contexts.
• Strong backend skills in Java or Golang with MongoDB/Redis.
• Ability to practice strong observability and operational excellence.
